4th Annual Community Riverwalk Parade

The Astoria Downtown Historic District Association (ADHDA) invites one and all to come join the fun in their 4th Annual Riverwalk Community Parade on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. The parade will line up at the Columbia River Maritime Museum (CRMM) Historic Train Depot (just east of the museum) starting at 7:45 p.m. with the parade starting at 8:00 p.m. We will proceed down westward the Riverwalk to the Sunset Empire Transit Center (corner of 9th and Astor Streets) in downtown.

All are welcome to dress up or down and participate in this no cost event, co-sponsored by Purple Cow Toys. Decorate your bike, tryc, kid and/or dog and come join the Astoria Regatta Court, Astor Street Opry Company, ADHDA "Kazoo and Bucket Marching Band" (we provide Kazoos and buckets!) and other local organizations as we celebrate our independence! Be sure to decorate it up and wear a costume too!

Join us downtown to gather, relax and enjoy a vibrant, artistic, fun, and safe atmosphere for all community members to see Astoria's fabulous fireworks display!
