Astoria, OR – Tickets are on sale now for the 5th annual "Jane Barnes Revue" Saturday, March 28. This topsy-turvy fashion show features Astoria's finest men celebrating Jane Barnes, the first European woman of Astoria. Reserve your tickets early, as space is limited. You do not want to miss this ONE NIGHT ONLY event of delightfully big wigs and hairy chests in glamorous dresses. The 5th Annual Jane Barnes Revue will be held at the Astoria Event Center, 255-9th Street, in downtown Astoria. The fashion show starts at 7:30 p.m. Doors open 7:00 p.m.
Tickets are available at Old Town Framing Co. (1287 Commercial St). We’ve expanded the venue and extended the runway; reserve a spot at a table right in front of the catwalk for $55.00, choose a sidebar table for $45.00 or view the stage from the balcony for $25.00 (Cash, check, and credit card accepted; this event is 21 and up; all ticket prices include two drink tickets). The “Jane Barnes Revue” is sponsored by Holly McHone Jewelers, and features local eats from North Coast Food Web, tasty cocktails from North Coast Distilling, and beer from Fort George Brewery and Buoy Beer Co. Get ready as the “Gentleman Janes” strut down the 24’ cat walk. This year’s lineup includes the debut of Cole Jannush with Farmers Insurance, also known as Montana Duke and Jorge Gutierrez, Executive Director of the Lower Columbia Hispanic Council as Danessa Rosewood. Jade Kiosse of Astoria Country Club and Rob Meadows of Hits 94.3, KRKZ are among the "Gentlemen Janes" that will be returning to the stage!
If that isn’t enough to wet your whistle, there will be a live auction during intermission that includes many, one-of-a-kind adventures. Have you ever wanted to hike Saddle Mountain with Pete Gimre or see Astoria from the perspective of the KMUN radio tower? How about enjoying the great outdoors exploring Camp Kiwanilong followed by a catered picnic lunch for 10? Maybe you have wanting a cocktail party with the one and only Patsy Oser reading some of her favorite pages? Join auctioneer Mary Blake, ADHDA and our “Gentlemen Janes” as we celebrate Jane Barnes in this topsy-turvy fundraiser.
