Read MoreColumbia River Coffee Roaster has been roasting coffee since 1992. Founder Tim Hurd had been in the coffee industry for some time when he discovered a Royal #5 roaster in an antique store in Hebo, Oregon, and came home to set up shop where he was raised. After 15 years of steady growth and countless cups of coffee, they moved their company into a beautifully renovated historic building in the Uniontown district of Astoria.
They and their growing handful of awesome employees roast a wide variety of coffees for a wide variety of coffee drinkers. From single origin roasts that showcase the inherent flavors and qualities of specialty coffee to traditional dark roasts and blends.
They source through importers and through an increasing number of direct trade relationships, where they have a transparent connection with the people who own the farms; who grow the coffee.
They’ve always been supporters of the local arts scene, and are firm believers in supporting community. You’ll see their coffee caffeinating the events and offices of local organizations that are doing the important work around us: CASA, VOCA, The Foster Club, The Harbor, North Coast Land Conservancy, Astoria Warming Center, C.L. Performing Arts Center, AVA Gallery, Liberty Theater, Coast Community Radio, and more.
They also have fundraising opportunities for students who are ready to work for their education! For more information, contact info@crcrcoffee.com.
