What is Hygge?
Hygge (pronounced HEU-gah) is a Danish word that describes a feeling or mood that comes from taking genuine pleasure in making ordinary, every day things more meaningful, beautiful or special. Essentially, hygge means creating a warm atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life with good people. I wanted to create an environment at Hygge Hair Co. that makes my clientele feel relaxed and well attended to while receiving a unique hairstyle. Hygge is a way of giving something ordinary a special context and taking time to make it extraordinary!
