Brumfield Gallery was established by Jane & Mike Brumfield in 2020. Jane & Mike Brumfield have had galleries in Boise, Idaho and Hastings, England, before settling on the Oregon Coast. Prior to this Jane had a 20-year career curating for small regional museums in the South of England.
In June 2022, the Brumfields sold the gallery to Joseph Clayton. Joe owns Bronze Coast Gallery in Cannon Beach and was happy to add Brumfield Gallery to his business portfolio and gallery family. He has employed Jane Brumfield to manage both galleries, and she will remain the curator for Brumfield Gallery. Joe has an extensive background in marketing and business development, in addition to being an enthusiastic art collector.

The work is born from authentic human experience and from a particular individual’s perspective. And then sometimes… they might show work just because they like it.
