The People That Help Make Downtown Astoria Work
Established in 1986
Who We Are
We were founded with a single mission:
"To preserve and advance historic downtown Astoria’s culture and character through inspired partnerships and community engagement to support a vibrant and resilient economic future for all Astorians."
ADHDA is the central nonprofit behind downtown Astoria's revival. Founded in 1986 at a moment when the city's traditional industries were in decline, we were built on a simple belief: that historic preservation and economic vitality are not competing priorities. They are one in the same.

The ADHDA hosts a General Meeting the 1st Friday of each month at 8:30am in the McTavish Room at the Liberty Theatre. All are welcome to attend to hear important updates and exciting developments happening in our community. The coffee is on us.
