The I…Did Not Know That: A Downtown Workshop Series is designed to strengthen relationships between local businesses and the community by turning shop owners into educators, storytellers, and ambassadors—building customer loyalty, increasing foot traffic, and reinforcing downtown Astoria as a place to learn, connect, and discover, not just shop!
Every month, a workshop will be hosted by a different downtown business. Join us for our August workshop Japanese Whiskey Tasting & The Art of Japanese Toys hosted by Quinn Allan & Miles Nielson at Yakimon Izakaya inside Dead Man's Isle.

Japanese Whiskey Tasting & The Art of Japanese Toys
Spend the evening of Tuesday, August 25th with Quinn Allan & Miles Nielson of Yakimon Izakaya as they share their knowledge and experiences of Japanese whiskey and designer Japanese toys! 8 spots available, $40 for the experience. Attendees will try 3 different unique Japanese whiskeys while discussing the art of collecting Japanese soft vinyl toys.
